Aug 10, 1828 - Merry Bracey for $350 deed to Allen Barnes slaves Hammett 45, Joan his wife 40, Tempy 15, Cork 13, Isaac 11, Masadora 9, Mellicent 9, Washington 5, and infant child, Phillander 30, Lucretia 30, Joe 15 - all sound and healthy. Wit: James Atkinson and D. McLaughlin.

Dec 31, 1828 - Allen Barnes deed to Edward Lee for $3500 the Negro slaves named in deed preceding. Dated Dec. 30, 1828. Wit: Gilbert Stovall and James Atkinson. Allen Barnes acknowledged the deed.

Mar 12, 1828 -John Barnes and Lydia Barnes his wife deed to Jacob Pope for $300 - N half of fractional section 19, T 1, R 17 W that is to divide said fractional section by a line from half mile post on E boundry to half mile post on W boundry, 300 acres, bounded on N. by John Applewhite, W. by Jacob Pope, S. James Lee, and E. by Jacob Pope. Land was originally purchased from land office at St. Stephens, Alabama by Everett Lee and deeded to John Barnes. Wit: Wm. Barnes, J. P. 

July 18, 1829 - David and Alice Ford deed to Everette Lee for $600 land on Pearl River in the district of lands offered for sale at St. Stephens, Ala., being the W 1/2 of the N. W. quarter of Section 36, T 2, R 18 W, containing 80 acres. Wit: Wm. Yarborough, Alice Ford relinquishes her dower.

July 18, 1829 -David and Alice Ford his wife deed to Everette Lee for $1200 tracts of land fractional section 35, T 2, R 18 W, of Basis Meridian, containing 319 acres, 1/2 beginning on Pearl River; another tract S. W. quarter of section 25, T2, R 18 W, 160 acres ( of the lands directed to be sold at St. Stephens, Alabama.)

Jan 31, 1831 - Thomas Applewhite of the city of Yazoo and Rachel Applewhite his wife deed to Benjamin B. Barnes for $600 land on the E side of Pearl River being the south part of fraction section 26, T 2, R 18 W. Wit: Elisha Applewhite.

Apr 7, 1835 -John Barnes, Jr. and Nancy Barnes his wife sell to Wm. Barnes for $300 land in Marion Co. W 1/2 SE quarter section of section 23, T 5, R 18 W. and the W 1/2 NE quarter of section 23, T 5, R 18 W. Wit: J. W. Pittman. 

Nancy Barnes states she voluntarily signed the deed to WM. Barnes.

Apr 30, 1835-Sampson Pope and Esther Pope, his wife, for $300 sell to Isham Pounds a tract of land - E half of NW quarter and the E half of the SW quarter of S 10, T 2, R 13 E, containing 160 acres. Wit: J. W. Pittman.

Mar 29, 1836 -Everett Lee deed to Benjamin B.
